The Man Behind The Mosque

1. It seemed that the media did not really look for anyone in particular in charge of the building of the mosque. It seemed to vary depending on which new network people looked at. It seemed that the conservative new sources looked at why they should not get the funding for the mosque whereas the liberal media looked at what was good about the building of the mosque. Where the good intentions of the project were.

2. In the video, it seemed that it was Sean Hannity who brought this to the medias attention on Fox.

3. It showed on both sides of the media, that they only looked at the opinions of the people, instead of the actual reasoning behind it or any information about the faith and why a mosque should then be built there.

4. They don't seem to have been interviewed by the cable news. This is evident because all of those on the cable news, were reporters that went into the field instead of bring people to the media to discuss the topic.

5. The cable news used the 9/11 attacks and what knowledge they have based on radical islamic actions, instead of talking to a Muslim or an Imam. They more than likely googled information and found what they know on their own website, which means it is not very reliable because they are not Muslim and do not know the faith like one of the religion would.

6. The media needs to take responsibility in their actions and what they report. They must follow their goal in reporting. However in following those goals, they might show more bias to one side more than the other which is also another issue.

7. The second largest share holder in News Corp at the time was Al-Waleed bin Talal the prince of Saudi.

8. It was because they were causing so much trouble over something that should not have made it to the level of media it did.They must have realized that they should not have gone as far as they did. They should maybe learn about what they are talking about.

9.The polls show that a lot if not most of white, conservative,Christians think that the Islamic faith is a bad faith. They think it promotes terrorism and that it is all it promotes.
